Lead-generation business running a GoHighLevel survey funnel, Delivered in 2025
Watch it run.
Read the narration
The leads arrived in one system, and the client worked them in another. This relay moves every lead across in real time, and exactly once.
The leads come from a GoHighLevel survey, and the client works them in LeadConduit. Out-of-area and duplicate leads must never leave the edge.
The ZIP check is custom HTML and JavaScript inside the survey. An out-of-area ZIP stops right here, so that submission never becomes a lead.
A ZIP inside the service area passes, and the survey can be sent.
On every submission, a GoHighLevel workflow posts the lead to a Zapier webhook.
One code step sanitises the fields and reshapes them for LeadConduit, so a rule changes in one place. Zapier then looks the lead up in a Google Sheets log. Only a new lead gets a row and is posted to LeadConduit, in real time.
If the same submission is sent again, the lookup finds its row and the run stops there, so the same person is never sent twice.
The log keeps a row for every lead that was relayed. From there, the client's follow-up email workflows take over.
Delivered in 2025, the relay sends qualified survey leads into LeadConduit in real time, with no manual upload, and stops out-of-area and duplicate leads before they reach the client's campaigns.
Before the build.
Leads came in through a GoHighLevel survey; the client worked them in LeadConduit.
The requirement, in one line
Out-of-area and duplicate leads never leave the edge.
The ZIP gate lives inside the form itself, so an out-of-area submission never becomes a lead at all.
What I built.
The survey validates the ZIP at the edge, a Zapier code step reshapes the lead, and a Sheets lookup guards LeadConduit.
Three parts, and each one is a check: the form, the code step, and the log.
- ZIP-code gating in the form
- A Zapier relay with a cleanup step
- A duplicate check before every post
What is true today.
- Qualified survey leads flow from GoHighLevel into LeadConduit in real time, with no manual upload step.
- Form data is kept in both GoHighLevel and LeadConduit.
- Out-of-area and duplicate leads are stopped before they reach the client's campaigns.
Updated
The details, when you need them.
ZIP-code gating in the form
Custom HTML and JavaScript validation inside the GoHighLevel survey, so out-of-area submissions are stopped before they ever become leads.
A Zapier relay with a cleanup step
A GoHighLevel workflow fires on every survey submission and posts it to a Zapier webhook. A code step sanitises and reshapes the fields into what LeadConduit expects.
A duplicate check before every post
Zapier looks the lead up in a Google Sheets log first. Only a new lead gets a row and is posted, so the same person is never sent twice. The client's follow-up email workflows take it from there.
- On every survey submission
- Runs in the client's own Zapier and GoHighLevel
- Never posts the same lead twice

What happens when it fails?
- Validation happens at the edge: out-of-area ZIP codes never leave the form.
- Every lead is checked against the log before it is posted, so a re-sent submission does not create a duplicate.
- All field cleanup lives in one code step, so a rule changes in one place.
- The Google Sheets log keeps a row for every lead that was relayed.
